Turn in Your Unused Medications In Corvallis
For anyone in Corvallis area, to get rid of old medications safely, here's where you can deposit them (safer than a bunch of pills in your trash; and we don't throw them down the toilet anymore, do we?)
At Oregon State University, allegedly 24/7/365, a drop-box in the lobby of the Oregon State Police. They told me today that it's "gi-normous, can't miss it". A brightly colored mail-box, like the old big mailboxes on street corners, next to the elevators on the second floor of their building.

Here is the official blurb from the OSP
OSU now has a prescription drop box housed at the OSP lobby. This
drop box is for faculty, staff, and students to depose of unwanted Rx
drugs. It is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. There
are no questions asked from those who are dropping off their unwanted drugs.
We have an add in the paper today and tomorrow but will do a grand opening
in the fall.
The purpose of the box is three fold:
